Wanna See Some Pictures?

So, yes, I just posted today with quite a few pictures. But now, I've actually downloaded the pics from my camera, and there are even MORE to post :)

We took Lexie to her first basketball games last weekend. Her Uncle Tom's team went to the Division III NCAA Final Four (Go Quakers!!) so we went to cheer them on. They didn't make it to the championship, unfortunately, but Lexie had a great time!
Everybody was sporting the team colors! Lexie had originally worn a cute pair of jeans that actually matched the shirt, but had an unfortunate incident that required changing and throwing away some clothes.... (Babies can be gross sometimes!)

Who needs stadium food when you've got Daddy's hat?

While we were at the basketball game, we were able to take Lexie to see her Great Great Aunt Hazel. She is 99 years old.
They only had eyes for each other.
Having a fun visit.
Kisses!

Now just some random shots...

Our neighbors gave Lexie this really neat ride-on toy. This is her first experience with it.

Floor time with Daddy.

We lost power for a day during our recent snowstorm. So sleeping was done VERY bundled up!

But the best naps are with Daddy!

And finally (for now) our latest professional photos. These were taken when she was about 4 1/2 months old....

OK...I'll stop now! As always, lots of love to you all!

A New Season

Well, technically Spring has sprung here in Virginia, but you'd never know it by the weather. We're looking forward to doing more with Lexie as the weather gets warmer. She loves being out and about.

We had Lexie's 6-month well baby visit last week and she's doing great. (We're actually switching pediatricians, and I'm so much happier with her new doctor.) You can see on the "Watch Me Grow" sidebar to the right that she's growing like a weed! She's such a happy baby...always smiling. She's sitting up on her own now, and when she's on her tummy she'll pull her knees up under her and try to push off, but doesn't really get anywhere yet. But it won't be long before we have a mobile baby! Let the babyproofing begin in earnest!

To that end, we're finally getting geared up to get all the finish carpentry done inside the house. We're also taking the pool out this year and rebuilding the back deck. So, lots of projects still in the works.

Lexie is eating at least one meal of solids per day. She LOVES to eat. Carrots are her favorite. We're excited to give her some Cheerios for the first time, but that may be a few weeks away yet...

We're having a baby play date this weekend with two of the other babies born around the same time Lexie was. We're seeing our friend Emma again, and getting to meet baby Grant for the first time. Lexie loves all the other babies in her daycare class, so I'm excited to see how she interacts with a new face.

And now...a few pictures...

Everything winds up in her mouth these days....

Her first snowstorm. She is not amused....

This is how she ends up after most car rides....

Happy, happy baby! Daddy took the day off to spend with her at home.

Like father, like daughter....

The day after her 4 month shots - I can't tell if it's the fever making her face pink, or the fact that she's surrounded by pink...
Tummy time is fun!

Hope you all are well. I have LOTS more pictures to post. Some new pro pics, and some of our visit with Lexie's Great Great Aunt Hazel.
Lots of love!!
