15 weeks - how time flies

We had our regular OB appointment today. We're 15 weeks pregnant. Wow! Sprout is bouncing around happily and his/her heartrate is hovering between 150 and 160. All is well. We have a tentative ultrasound date for April 8th. I say it's tentative, because it doesn't look like Doug can make it that day. So I'm trying to reschedule it so that he can be there. This is the "what are we having" ultrasound (along with looking at other important things like organ and skeletal development), so he really wants to be there for that one. I'll let you know if that date gets changed.

I talked a lot with my doctor today about birthing options, and I'm really excited about all the things that my hospital has to offer. So I'm feeling pretty good about things at this point. Not to mention that I have discovered that I have access to a doppler EVERY weekday instead of 2 days a week. Don't think I'm not taking advantage of that!

So, once we know (IF we find out) what we're having, we can get started on getting the nursery cleaned out (it's currently full of all of the tools and stuff we used to put down the hardwood floors) and going through all of the mounds of stuff we have in our basement to see what we still need to get (which isn't going to be much).

I was told yesterday - on two separate occasions - that I am "carrying in my butt". As if I already wasn't concerned about the size of my rear end. I have noticed a little change in my belly the last couple of days. It's all seeming very real these days....

So...we're moving right along. Next MD appointment is scheduled for April 8, when we'll be 18 weeks and 5 days along. Wow!

UPDATED: April the 8th it is...we moved it up so that Doug could make it that morning. LOTS of driving for him that day, but he's very excited to see Sprout again! 26 days and counting!....
